Spent all day yesterday with my mother. I haven't been able to stay the night since Z died becaue Little Dog can't be alone that long. Anyway, she got her second vaccine. Hundreds of senior citizens trying to navigate a parking lot intended for Mini Coopers and I spent forty minutes helping the volunteers help folks back their vehicles out of stalls. Who thought this site was the place to do this??? I'm just not understanding the thought processes of those in charge lately. I know this cowtown had to consult with the guy who runs the rodeo round-up as he knows how to keep cars moving, but a bunch of well-meaning volunteers with safety vests really wasn't the answer. It would be laughable it if wasn't such a f-up. Then I helped her with her taxes and then we had tea and I came home.

I'm worried about [personal profile] tsuki_no_bara . Anyone heard from her lately?

I watched The Shape of Water and found it worth the two hours. Hurty in all the right places. And ASL.

I'm reading the syllabus assignments for my Memento Mori class. Pretty heavy. I took Death & Dying in uni a gazillion years ago, and this look similar but with an artier bend. That starts next week.

I'm enjoying being a student. Taking a break from writing. I can feel the brain coffers filling again. But I am trying to exprss mysefl visually. Here's a vase of the purple tulips -
