The final Make Your Own Memento Mori class last night. Always sad to leave a group behind, especially when folks feel they made themselves vulnerable to one another. I will share my Mori project in my next post, but here's a shot I took for the class -

The opened tome is the actual text. Death:  A Graveside Companion by the instructor, Joanna Ebenstein. But, if you take the class, the book is provided in .pdf format. Which works for all you e-readers! And is a really great deal.

I do recommend this course. I've been working with death themes for decades now and I know not everyone does that, but the course is both informative and gentle. Let me know if you have questions or if you decide to descend/ascend.

In other news:

Still enjoying The Knick which got kind of dark.

I'm slowly, slowly feeling a pull back towards the words but not quite ready to begin penning just yet. I think I need to write out my Persephone/Hades stories and finish with that. At least for a while. Then who knows? Does anyone know when the next Idol season begins?

You can feel spring here. Budding trees and wildflowers. Songbirds and chittering squirrels.
